How do I register on the website?
When registering on our website you must enter a valid email address as your username and you then choose your own password. Both your email address and password are used to login. If you would like to register please visit our registration page.
Note: If you have already registered but have forgotten your password you can generate a new password on the reset password page.

What are the benefits of registering on the RIKEN RESEARCH website?
Registeration to RIKEN RESEARCH is free. Registered users on RIKEN RESEARCH are allowed to download monthly and annual pdfs, send feedback directly to RIKEN and access special interviews and announcements from RIKEN. In addition registered users receive weekly email alerts in English and/or Japanese with the latest research and articles from RIKEN RESEARCH.
If you have a username and password with which you gain access to the site, this should not be shared amongst a group of people. This is important for the security of your personal details, and in ensuring that you have the correct level of access to the site. If you would like to register on our website please go to the registration page.
How can I delete my registration to the RIKEN RESEARCH website?
If you would like to be removed from the RIKEN RESEARCH database, you can cancel your account on the My Account page. Please be aware that if you would like to benefit from some of the online features such as access to the pdf of the full monthly print issue of RIKEN RESEARCH and receiving email alerts you will have to register once again.
I have forgotten my password. How can I get a new one?
If you have forgotten your password you can ask for a new one on the reset password page.
Please note that you must enter your email address that is registered with our website. A password will then be sent to that email address. You must then login using that email address and new password. Once you have successfully logged in, you can change the password on the My Account page.

When I attempt to register on the website I receive an error message. What can I do?
If an error occurs during your registration this will usually be a temporary error with a server. Try closing the browser down and opening a new one and trying again. If the error persists it might be that there is a technical glitch which will usually resolve itself and you should try again later.
